The advanced, rapid on-line surface and sub-surface inspection system for rolling mill rolls guaranteeing optimum roll life and performance in the mill.

Rollscan provides fast and accurate roll inspection using eddy current and ultrasonic techniques that guarantees optimum roll life and performance in the mill. Rollscan can be used both before and during grinding with accuracy and speed, enabling defect free rolls to be returned quickly to the mill. Rollscan detects and quantifies cracks, bruises and sub-surface flaws.

Common surface and sub-surface inspection applications for the Rollscan system are hot and cold rolling mill work rolls and back up rolls amongst many others.
