As a multi-disciplinary function, our Engineering department is comprised of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Software design teams. Our engineering teams are encouraged to think creatively to tailor our products to client requirements. Tasked with bringing world-class innovation to market, Sarclad offers the opportunity to be involved in the design and delivery of our next generation of products for the Metals Industry. Our engineers strive to constantly provide improvements to our designs, support for our customers and are key in maintaining our market leading position.
Sarclad’s Operations department is dedicated to getting the job done to the highest quality and maintaining a safe and effective way of working. Join us on our journey to implement the powerful blend of advanced technology and Lean manufacturing methods, to deliver first class customer value, product performance and service performance. Covering all manufacturing activities, including procurement, product management, production, supply and logistics, our Operations staff are key to the successful delivery of projects on-time and with the highest quality standards.
Our sales team brings decades of industry experience, training, and a ‘can-do’ attitude to every customer engagement, including presentations, sales, follow through and after-sales opportunities. Key to connecting clients with the right technological solution, our Sales Managers and Sales Engineers play a central role in the generation of new and repeat business opportunities. Our in-house team of After-Sales specialists, ensure the provision of support to our clients for the lifetime of their equipment.
The Finance and HR team’s missions are to provide a competitive advantage for Sarclad Limited. Our Finance team provides the business with expertise in financial and management accounting, business analytics and financial planning. Looking forward, the finance department undertake a key role in the long-term growth and expansion plans for Sarclad. Our HR team supports the organisation in honoring our commitments and conducting business in a manner that promotes fairness, respect, honesty, and trust. Contributions to the plan are made by salary sacrifice if you decide to join and in addition, both National Insurance savings from you and Sarclad will be added to your pension policy, providing a welcome extra to your monthly contribution. Membership of the pension scheme also entitles you to a death in service benefit of 3 times your annual salary, 33% spousal pension and 50% permanent health insurance.
At Sarclad we are conscious of your life outside work, and so we offer a generous annual leave entitlement in addition to providing 2 Sarclad days for you to enjoy longer bank holidays twice a year. Our standard full-time working hours are 35 per week, worked within flexible start and finish times, which allow for the opportunity to finish from 3.30pm onwards Monday to Thursday and from 1pm on a Friday.
It’s important to celebrate the wins and milestones the company and its employees experience. In 2018 we had a Hog Roast to celebrate 1000 days without a lost time injury. Also in 2018 we had a BBQ to celebrate the retirement of one of our colleagues and had an artisan pizza lunch for another retiree. At the end of the year all employees are invited to celebrate the festive season with an ‘all-expense paid’ Christmas party.
