EDT Project Manager, Eyal Solomon, reports a successful previous year and a healthy looking 2015 for Sarclad’s most popular product group, the EDT.

“Sarclad have had a very successful 2014 completing 5 installations and commissioning 6 new machines, as well as having upcoming commissions to be undertaken later this year.”

We have so far completed installations for the following customers:

• Pangang China (72 electrode) – Completed
• Bhushan India (36 electrode) – Completed
• Tata Tarapur India (36 electrode) – Completed
• JFE Japan (36 electrode) –Completed
• Novelis South Korea (12 electrode) – Completed (Aluminium Mill)

We are currently commissioning machines for the following customers:

• Bokaro India (72 electrode) – Under commissioning on site
• Alcoa Saudi Arabia – Under commissioning on site (Aluminium Mill) to be completed 02/2015
• Vama China (72 electrode) – Under Commissioning on site to be completed 02/2015
• Nanshan China (12 electrode) – Under Commissioning on site (Aluminium Mill) – To be completed 03/2015
• Alnan China (12 electrode) – To be commissioned shortly on site (Aluminium Mill) – To be completed 03/2015
• Tangshan China (72 electrode) – Under Commissioning on site – To be completed 03/2015 (1^st stage) and 03/2016 (2^nd stage)

We will be commissioning the following machines for customers later this year:

• BaoTou China (72 electrode) – Delivered, to be commissioned on site 04/2015
• Wisco China (72 electrode) – Delivered, to be commissioned on site 03/2015
• Neo Portage (36 electrode) – Contract accepted, being built, to be delivered 02/2015 installed and commissioned on site 03/2015
• Baosteel China (36 electrode) – Moving Roll Variant – under production, to be shipped 07/2015, to be commissioned on site 10/2015
